    Default Age of Crappie Fishermen

I find it interesting when I'm out fishing that I typically don't see a lot of 20-45. Wondering if at some point there will ever be a decline in crappie fishermen. Maybe I'm all wrong on my observations. Would be interesting to see some pole (ha pun intended) done on age. Most all I see are 50-75. I'm 53. And I'd say more of the younger one's I see are local to the lakes.

Most of the younger ones are working and go when they can early or late afternoon.

I see a good many young folks on Grenada, Enid seems to be a geezer trap but I like it too!!!!!
I think the key is getting more young folks involved and that's our job.

You barely made the cut. I am 71 so even my kids don't fall in age range. Got my grand kids fishing when I can though.

You got to be over 45 to afford all this stuff lol........most of the old guys are spending their kids inheritance
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

My 2 sons who fish want to catch those nasty green carp. I get mad when I catch one - tears up the jig.

Bass fishing is more "run and gun" than slab seeking. Their ADD minds need the change of scenery I guess.
