    Default Kentucky Lake 4/13- 4/16

Just returned from Ky lake , fished Wednesday thru Saturday. The fishing was a little slow to start and never did get on fire. The fish were scattered, had people spider rigging on ledges, fishing stake beds and brush piles and long lining. We had 9 keepers wed, 18 Thursday, 25 Friday, 10 Saturday(1/2 day). Most were caught long lining in 10-12 FOW. The bigger females were in deeper water and full of eggs, some were bloody, it's getting close. I figured this weekend would be on fire with full moon and water temp's in mid to upper 60's. I would love to get back down this weekend but the quilter's have everything booked for a 50 miles from Paducah. Talked to some some guys who had been with a guide for 3 days and the best catch was 16 keepers, so i don't feel too bad. Our largest was 2.4 Lbs.

Not sure on the area you are fishing but have you tried some of the camping sites within or around LBL? For instance, Piney Campground has cabins you can rent by the night and I am sure some of the others have the same.
Granted they are no hotel room but they have an A/C unit and a couple bunks to lay your head down plus boat ramps to hit the lake.
Just an option for ya maybe.
I plan on being there this weekend as well at Piney.
