Hey guys, I would love to go Crappie fishing this weekend. I've never been Spider Rigging. That would be sweet!! Well, anyways, I get paid this Thursday and would like to team up with someone with a boat and fish. I could give you some on gas or lunch or whatever. I live in Calera. The closest to me would be Lake Mitchel, Lake Purdy, Bibb County Lake or Lay Lake. Martin is 2 hours away. If you would like to team up, let me know!!
Thanks!
My name is, Brian.
Good luck finding someone, I would like to take myself but not looking like I will get to go very soon...

Yeah, I gave up no it man. People just aren't good sports like back in the day. Used to you could just ask someone and they'd say sure thing pal! Times have changed. Last time I went to the Pier right, this guy and his young son was fishing, and these two guys pulled up in a big pontoon boat and just trolled right over their bobbers. So disrespectful. And then 2 teenagers came and jumped right in the water right by where I was fishing. Times have changed so much.
But you're right. This weather is crazy. I am planning on just going next weekend once all this rain moves out.
I'd be glad to meet up with you on the water and fish the same water with you any day, but I fish from a kayak. You'll have to bring your own boat.
Thanks! But I don't have a Kayak. Didn't you see the video I posted under Fish Stories, about the guy who was catfishing from a Kayak and reeled in a big gator?!![]()
I started out fishing from a kayak on the Georgia coast where I saw dozens of gators every trip. They usually leave you alone, no big deal, LOL!
You the man! I wouldn't even get close to that water! LOL
But seriously, it shouldn't be THIS hard to find someone who is willing to let me tag along. It would mean so much to me. I haven't been able to get out into a boat with someone since my grandfather passed away back in '96. I would love to either do night fishing, long lining or just sit in one spot. I want to catch enough to have a fish fry for my kids.
