Thread: Jordan Crappie fishing Report for Thursday April 14th

Hi All,

Went out to Jordan lake on Thursday night, got there about 6:00 PM and put in at Ebeneezer Bridge and headed straight over to the opposite side of the lake. Found some nice weeds in about eight to two feet of water. Started fishing with live minnows from about two feet down to about eight feet and all the way up to the bank, Only caught one catfish.

As dark set in I headed back over to Ebeneezer bridge and anchored in about twenty feet of water and fishing toward the rock, out toward the channel and in to the shallow parts and only caught one 12 in crappie and a few smaller ones. I tried using minnows, grubs worms of every possible color.

No luck that night but I'm still new to this so maybe it's a learning curve, saying this I have fished here before and done well so again I hope it was just a slow night. For reference the water was was between 65/68 degrees and a little cloudy.

I would also like to say thanks to the loud month drunks in the speeding pontoon, if you guys can't be courteous to others then why don't you stay home. Sorry just the way I feel about it.

Did you use a light and if you did was there any minnow actively around the light? As for the drunks I feel your frustration.
