I'll bet if you can be at Holmes Bend before 7AM for the Spring Fling someone may be able to find room in their boat for you. How about it guys anyone got a spare seat?
I'll have a little room if I fish 3 in my boat, there are ways to make it work.

Ok so I have only fish Green once and was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to bank fish for crappie. Planning on heading up Saturday morning and any place that is great to bank fish would be greatly appreciated. Went to the Snake Creek ramp about a week ago and it looks like it would hold a lot of fish when they move shallow but I'm a novice on that lake and want to get away from Barren for a day.

You can fish all around the bank from Holmes bend and then left. I did that when I was in school at Lindsey. Also, check the WMA maps on KDFWR website. There are some lake access points there too.

The fishing in there pretty good? I'm figuring they'll be shallow and doing their thing by Saturday.
It has been ten years or so since I fished it. I am not sure what the lake level is but in the early spring I caught them on lay downs in the back of that creek arm. I would guess any brush or trees you find in 10-5 fow has a good chance of producing a fish.
