How deep would you try and run your jigs?

12 to 15 feet deep, usually the fish suspended off the bottom are the ones that are actively feeding and most catchable.

I would start with a 1/8 ounce head running at 1.0 mph and if no bites I would add a split shot to get a little deeper and if that did not work I would drop a minnow on them.

I am surprised that in the first picture you got a mix of fish icons and arches. As strong a return as you got on the arches I would have expected it to display as a fish icon.

Like Ink, I'd run my jigs around 12'-13' deep. That way my jigs would be above most of the suspended fish and the agressive fish would see the jigs to come up after them. From my setup that would be a 1/16th jig with a splitshot about the same size as the jighead (#7 I believe) running .8 mph to be at that depth.

I am with the pro's on this one. I sure hope this is not recent pictures of Wylie. Water temp at 84 already.
