    Default Camping Greeson 4/8/16

Took family camping on Lake Greeson this past weekend! Man I gotta say.....that is one beautiful LAKE! We camped and fished a little. I must say I am big time out of my element trying to single pole! Did catch some fish but never just wore em out! They were all over my graph though! I just couldn't make em play! Got to meet an awesome guy GoTennTitans! We had a great visit and a truely genuine guy he is! He helped us out with a ton of info on the lake and put us on some fish! There are few people n this world that will b willing to help others like GTT is! Cooper (my son) wasn't doing very well with fishing. I think it was just a huge change of scenery and he couldn't stay focused. So ultimately we fished a lot less than what we had planned. So we did other things. Went to an alligator farm and petting zoo in Hot Springs. First thing that happened was he squatted down to get face to face with a goat at the petting zoo and BAM! He got butted right in the forehead and it leveled him! Man it is probably bad of me but I could not quit laughing!!! It was hilarious! He also got to hold and alligator and he LOVED that! Back to the fishing report, water was gorgeous! Fish we caught were in 4 foot or less water. Most were small, ALL were gorgeous! Water temp would range from 63-68 degrees! All in all an awesome trip and we will be back!

Good job dad. At that age fishing isn't everything to them yet, even though Cooper is an exception to the rule on fishing. Beautiful lake, I've seen it, just haven't fished it yet. I grew up only single poling for decades but now find it a little harder to be patient with if they aren't biting.

Good job Dad! P.S. I can't fish with just one pole anymore! Unless I'm wading???? Lol.
