    Default Bow Mount Transducer

Anybody have any pics or suggestion on mounting a transducer to the bow NOT on the trolling motor. Something that can be let up/down, etc. I don't want on my trolling motor. I fish in shallows frequently too and been there done that with breaking the transducer (even with a protector). Was thinking something made out of PVC or sturdy aluminum.

Pics would be very helpful on ideas. Thanks

I appreciate the feedback. I've actually seen that one. Wasn't quite into spending $169 though. Maybe I can try to replicate something similar. Seen some guys make for Kayaks out of PVC that would also maybe work. Guess I just need to get creative!!

You've got the right idea! I made one using an old trolling mtr mount and attached a bracket at the top of a piece electrical conduit, and made a bracket at the bottom to attach the 'ducer. Had it mounted on a 10' Lowe johnboat for use this time of year when the water was high. I had a brain dump 3 years ago and sold the whole rig.....been kicking myself ever since. I am now looking for another old trolling motor that doesn't work, just to get the bracket. My boat has a small front deck and I want to get my Helix up so I am not constantly bending my back to adjust the settings.
