Speaking for both me and Jordan Limit, we have great thanks and gratitude to all the fisher persons we have encountered along the way to learning how to be better crappie fishermen. We have spent the past two years learning from the best crappie fisher persons in the state, practicing those lessons on the water in both good and bad weather, and caught a couple of good breaks to help us peak during the final tournament.
We are nothing without you, the greatest friends a person can have are those we have met from the C.C message boards, and the BigEyeCrappie Man and Capps tournament trails.
Thank you all, we are humble and thankful.

And I will say "Amen" to the things Charles said above. We have had the ability to watch and learn from many individuals that are great fishermen. Even last weekend one of our fellow competitors gave us a tip that helped us yesterday.

Redboat (Tony) was fishing near us most of the day. Wikipedia has small craft warnings as 25 to 38 miles per hour, which is what we had yesterday. Our boat, a 19' deep V Tracker Targa with a protective windshield, was capable of handling the terrible winds. I was very concerned for Tony because he has a much smaller boat. He got to the weigh-in with just two minutes to spare and I was quite concerned. The water he had to travel over could have swamped his boat, but fortunately, he made it back safe and sound, although very wet.
