Thread: Toledo Bend

I made a trip to Toledo Bend last weekend. I caught more bar fish than I an count with a few crappie and bass. The lake had white caps Friday and Saturday. Sunday it laid down but we didn't fish. That was clean up and travel day. We stayed at my brother's friend's camp. This place was first class. It was on the point between the bridge and North Toledo Bend State Park. We ate at the Mexican restaurant on 191 and Hwy 6. It was my first and last time to say the least. We went to eat BBQ Friday over in Texas at the place that sells pies. We spent more on whole pies to go than BBQ. That brownie pie is to die for. Well the fishing wasn't that great but the company made up for it. We had the whole family there from grand parents to grand children.
The pollen was so bad that I got a sinus infection that has had me under the weather for the past 3 days.
