    Default ElDorado 4-2 fishing Plan

Going to be on the lake this Saturday and Sunday. My first real attempt to target crappie. I've read all of your excellent posts and think I have enough knowledge to get a good start.
I would like any game plan suggestions though. My plan will be to target 10-15 fow working deeper or shallow as needed. Working through coves and out to deeper drop offs or ledges. Hopefully marking some new structure. I have a few structure marked already from studying maps.
Based off the time of year I think it's going to be tough. And I'm don't expect to slayem. But hoping to get into a few!

    Slowboat,

Looks like a good attack on crappie but if I was you, I would look for shallow brush (4-10FOW) first. As the day warms up, you might want to look at Rocks... That's where I found them the other day... Good luck...

Thanks for the info Shane. I'm trying to make the lake as small as possible.
    I'll take the luck also.

    Thanks ragnar
ive been around the trees out there several times. Probably be hitting new areas though. It's weird seeing a huge stump lurking a few inches under the water.
I'll keep an eye out for ya. I'm pretty noticeable. Old aluminum 14 ft V. Two tone green.

    Slowboat,

    Went out Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday - Caught fish in 6-14 fow. Most came from about 10 fow. All in brush but the bite was very slow. Ended up with 26 for the day..
Sunday - Caught fish in 6-10 fow. Most came from the rocks and a few on brush. Clear water was the key. Everything came down on the lower part of the lake. Hope this helps. Blue and Chartreuse was the key color... Had 32 fish from 8am to 2ish...

That's good to here Shane. You have got it figured out.
Didn't have luck but maybe the one I did get was luck. Got it right out of the gate in brush pile 20 fow and nothing after.
Fished close to rock shore line but out in about 20 fow in trees. Fished shallow maybe 4 fow with tree lay downs .
Had boats around but nobody catching that I saw. Talked to the game warden and he said out of 30 people checked he saw 3 crappie. Talked to a few guys on the boat ramp and they got nothing.

Still working on finding a method that works for me and my equipment. I may be expecting too much out of what I have to work with. But I'm not giving up anytime soon.

Thanks a lot for the update.
Like I said before you have it figured out
