Glad you were able to catch some in all this mud and flood.

I fished Susie and Garth today. The fish were slow and scattered. Tried a little of everything, most of my Crappie came spider rigging a 1/16oz, White Marabou jig about 24 to 36 inches deep in 4 to 6 feet of water. I caught around two dozen Crappie, half would have measured. All Crappie returned for another day. Water was still muddy and 58 degrees.
We had a big fish fry at work and cleaned out my freezer. I may have to get serious and keep a few next trip.
Glad you were able to catch some in all this mud and flood.
Every day is a holiday and every meal is a picnic.
Good Job!!!
The fish better duck. I have not fished the Susie Hole since I used to there fish 4 kids ago.
Good report, I might go tomorrow. Can't make my mind up to go crappie fishing or cat fishing.
If you want catfish for the table, float jugs in Lilly Pond/Cain Slough. You'll get more then you want to clean in just a few hours of fishing.
Good job Ditch. Nice report. Was wondering if they had started back that way since the water came up. Thanks
There's a few in there, but not the usual numbers. I think it's going to take a few more warm days with the water up.
Ditch, I went crappie fishing but I was going to see if the flathead were hitting yet.
I haven't fished (limb lines) for Flatheads since High School. I've sure been tempted to set a dozen lines in Indian Creek one afternoon after work.
