Miss Marsha and I arrived Wednesday just ahead of the monsoon that pretty much lasted almost 3 days. The lake rose several feet and the campground at the outlet channel flooded.Saw a 15lb. Asian carp snagged in the spillway and quite a few folks catching crappie with jigs and minnows under corks about 4 to 8 ft. deep.Sun finally came out but brought with it a nice breeze to say the least. Lake white capping but folks still catching fish.On the way back we stopped at Enid. Nothing happening with just a trickle of water being released. Next stop, Sardis. Some water running. Saw 1 decent crappie caught and a nice bass caught right against the wall.Everybody was catching dink crappie and a bunch of doubles.Hickahala north of Senatobia had jumped up a bunch and east of I-55 the water was super clear in some spots.Coldwater River, if we get a bunch of rain next week might just get on I-55.Here's a mess of pics.
