Thanks for the update. We went out when it was windy and fought the wind. Im going to avoid that wind next time. Good job on those fish.

Was that you I talked to this past Wednesday ?? He was fishing a jig w/nibbles and casting around blowdowns. Said he was a member, but never mentioned his screen name.

I know what you mean about the wind ... when it's blowing >15mph there's just no place on the water that you can hide from it !! At least I never found anywhere this past Wed.

We caught ours on Roadrunners .... pink marabou was the best, but the pink/char Crappie Thunder body on a chartreuse Roadrunner head did pretty good, as well. My partner caught his on a chartreuse Roadrunner head with a purple/char stinger shad body.

Looking at the forecast for the next ten days around the lake, makes me think they'll still be doing what they're doing now for the next 10-14 days .... what with the day/night temps averaging only around 50deg and rain nearly every other day (if not 2 out of every 3days).

    ... luck2ya, buddy !!

No my wife and I went out 3/29 Tuesday. The wind was brutal but we had fun anyways. Caught two 11 inchers on jigs/tubes
which is all we use for Crappie. We set up on a point and let the wind blow us through our zone then we would use the trolling motor
    to reposition and repeat.
