Bamboo for structure in OK??

Does anyone know where to find the bamboo they use in the crappie condos, in Oklahoma? I haven't had much luck finding anything but sand reed up here.

We have it in some ditches around here.

My father in law grows it in his back yard. So I usually get mine from him.

Dyabolical, does it spread like wildfire or stay confined to where you plant it?

I know where a bunch of it's growing. North 129th st where it Ts at port road in tulsa

For the most part it stays contained to the same area. We are not sure what species it is but it grows fast and tall.

Redge, I was eating at a Chinese restaurant on Meridian last year and saw a couple of guys harvest a pickup load from the creek just behind it.

Muskogee, Okay, Ft Gibson area I know where several stands of bamboo are. If you need some I'll send you a google map with it circled on.
