Very invasive and hard to get rid of. Most of the time the county tries to control a patch, they have to use a dozer to remove the roots, then replace the dirt.

A lot of people mistake River Cane for Bamboo. If you have any friends over in the Hot Springs area, I'm certain they can hook anyone up with as much as they can haul. Last time I got bamboo from over there, I loaded my boat down with it and was able to sink 11, 5 gallon buckets of it standing tall up to 17' with about 7 stalks per bucket. Get over on the Arkie board to do your bamboo shopping!

I planted it in my front yard and crappie fish out of my driveway. Come to kansas and I will let you fish in my yard.Next time I am down at grand we will have to go fishing together. Hope to bring my boat down later this year for a week and will give you at shout when I do.
