SlabbyJoe and myself was on the lake before sunlight. foggy could hardly see the front of the boat. Fished till 1400 hours, 4 legals and numberous shorts. Most of the morning was spent fishing at the damn water outlet. One short at the bridge, one fish at the bluffs and zero crappie at the hot water outlet.
Thanks for the Report Ron.
On the lake at 6am ....zero visibility... the Lord and gps/humminbird saved the day....very eerie being in a thick cloud just idling along hopin and prayin your electronics are spot on because you can't see past the front of the boat. I've been in thick fog before without gps and all I did was go around in circles!! Fog is one of the most disorienting phenomenons I've ever experienced.....really spooky
It took a couple hours for the fog to lift and then it turned into a beauty!
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!
I launched at the 399 ramp one morning and the fog really gets you. Scary since there are random trees and stumps to pass before you get to the main lake.
Seems like action is slowing down there a little.

The hot water discharge seems to be pretty slow the last couple times I've gone. The guys on the fence do better than boaters. Maybe the crappie moved into the creek
