Default First timer at Lake Washington

My son and I are making our first Mississippi crappie fishing trip this weekend. We're going to Lake Washington and I understand that weather and water conditions haven't been good. 500 miles is a long way to go to get shut out, so if anyone has any advice on how to put a few 'Sippi slabs in the boat I'd sure like to hear from you!

Fished Enid for a little while this afternoon, caught zero fish. I sure hope I have better luck at Washington!

Can't really do that, we'll just have to make do the best we can this weekend.

We caught 2 decent crappie and a bunch of drum. Maybe we'll leave here a little early and go try Grenada.
