Trolled for crappies in Big Allison for a couple of hours this morning. Tried several spots without much luck. After the wind got up, we started fishing for perch with minnows.

Marked a good many schools but the bite was slow.

Ended up with 5 crappies & about 40 perch.

Back out tomorrow if weather is ok.

Hey Charles missed you today. Did cya Tuesday out there. Wind was calm until 11: and blew hard. Brettw and I talked to some fishermen and they could not find Crappie biting also. Thanks for getting those perch. Seemed the crappie were not biting well, it was a hard work day. Did not see many perch schools on the upper end by boys club dock. Bait seemed scarce early morning put bait pickup when we came back from Little Allison.

Any one try closer to the bank longlining yet. I had a guy this morning say he's getting them on the banks steady. Didn't say which part Big or Little Allison or which end. He was heading back out this afternoon. Hope it picks up this week coming.
