Inhanced permit is the way to go.......the regular permit is restricted a lot where you can carry. You can however get the regular one and get it inhanced later. Taking the class is really a good thing.

I know enhanced is better, but I wash gas stations at night so that's about the only time (as of now) i'll be needing to carry a pistol with me. Will definitely look into enhanced down the road.

You have open carry in Mississippi, I don't care for people walking around like John Wayne in public places, but it is your right to do so..

Open carry has its place, but i'd rather conceal carry.

Open carry puts a target on your back..plus makes allot of people nervous for no reason

got mine at the hwy patrol station at batesville. there were only certain days of the week you could apply two years ago. and i have my weapon on me 90% of the time and the other 10% it is in my vehicle. i would never think about open carry.
