    Default Tough, but I'm hooked

Finally got all my spider rigging stuff setup today and took a trip to Brewer this afternoon. Water was 54-55 and the bite was tough, but I caught my first fish spider rigging and now I'm hooked. Definitely a steep learning curve with 8 rods....."if you're not hung up you're not fishing", does "if you're not tangled up you're not spider rigging" count too? Lol

Good luck! I was over there too this afternoon. You're right, that wind was tough! I wound up with 4 keepers. Were you in a Bass Tracker? I was fishing in the middle of the cove in a tan Seaark.

D10 I ended up with 14' Capps and Coleman's with HT reels, got a good deal for the whole set in the classifieds. I was running 3/4oz double minnow rigs today and they seemed to handle the weight well.

JRB yes that was me, I'll troll on over and say hello next time. Figured there were some forum members out there.

Looks like your set up pretty good! Just wait till you hook a big ole gar or catfish and he makes a good run thru the other poles!!!!!
