Each person can use 3 rods. You can't have one person up front with 2 rods and two people in the back with 7 rods...

Are you sure about that Scott? I'd like to see that in writing if you can refer me to refer me to a source. I've fished two out front and four out back with two people and see it done all the time. Never heard anyone getting fined. Matter of fact I got checked last year in yellow creek and Game Warden said nothing about it. I have always been under the impression that 3 rods per person and it did not matter where they were located.

A bunch of the guides fish with 4 poles on the front and only let their customers fish with 2 each on the back. I never really understood that reasoning when the customer is paying to fish.

The reason is not Strippers it is Catfish they are not being harvested because of pollution. They will eat a lot of crappie. Long lining has nothing to do with it. to each his own. Three weeks ago in Little river there was 147 tickets issued for short fish. There has not been enough game and fish on the lake in the past to control short fish and legal limits. As for as I care they can put a 15 creel limit and a 12 inch size limit on the crappie. and enforce it! and those that like it fine and those that don't fine. And like you said stocking sure helps. as it is if not for stocking the lake would not have survived up until today. People are going to have to be more responsible for what they catch and keep.

Coach Scott is right about that The game wardens don't say much about it but they can write you up if they choose to. The law says 3 per person not 6 or 9 in the boat it says 3 per person not 4 for 1 and 2 for the other person.
