Went to the lake yesterday and oh my way a mistake. The wind was horrible. My son caught his 1st bowfin that was about 2lbs.
i caught one crappie about 1 1/2 we still had a good time except i lost a deck lid off my boat.Did anyone else brave the white caps . Oh and also got to meet the new owner of flint river. he was very nice

I wasn't on Blackshear yesterday, but I have been on it during high winds once or twice...it can get a tad bit sporty.
Now if they are calling for anything 15mph or above I stay off Blackshear.
