Default This is what you do to get back home.

Never made it to the lake when the leaf spring broke and the axle slid back and dropped the fender of my boat down on the tire. At 70 mph the smoke was rolling for sure. With nearly nothing to work with, this is what I did to get the axle moved forward and the fender off the tire. It doesn't look pretty but I made the 3 hour trip back home. Maybe someone can use this idea in their unfortunate future.Name: IMG_20160319_113915803.jpg

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

Great job of engineering to get back home. Glad things worked out as well as they did.
