Default Gave the Crappie a break and worked on Crappie killers

Took a short midday trip on a small water supply lake close to home . Several folks doing the same today . I caught 5 but it was a good trip .

Tomater planting time is upon us. Get a nice fillet off for the grill and the remains go underneath the plant. Ain't nothing much better than a bass growed fresh tomater sammich.

    Good fish.

Nice. I love to catch LMB from time to time but at 60 years old it's a bit like choppin' wood for me to like it like I used to. There was a time I liked choppin' wood and casting and reeling for bass.

I don't eat Bass and question putting them under my maters , afraid the smell might transfer . Gave them away instead of putting them back . Funny how Bass guys get upset keeping bucketmouths but at same time don't hesitate to keep a slab Crappie .
