    Default Crappie in the rain


    Late post...2 of us fished Thursday longlineing jigs and minnows 3ft down over about 6ft.of water and picked off a few. Started seeing activity shallow so fished 1.5ft.deep over old lilly pad beds and next to wood using floats moved really slow. Caught about 50 or so. Kept 20 9 to 11 inches. Hit both minnows and mult. colors of lake forks and stinger shads. Biggest fish 15.5 in. female released to drop that giant egg sack she had..lol. Just got one pic on buddies phone of the big mama.

    15.5 thats knockin at toad status, congrats! if it came from the waters we talked about its a good one. the rest(9-11) sound about rite the last 2 years there.
