    Default Jordan 3-12-16

Fished Bigeyedcrappiemans Tournament yesterday and was very excited. 25 boats and a lot of good fisherman.I thought we had done real well. We weighed 7 fish at 7.8 lbs and we felt real good going to the weigh in. Was we ever surprised. Standing in 2nd place was my good friend Freddie Sinclair (Sinclairs guide service) with 12.5 lbs and the leader with 12.9 lbs and many big crappie (2 lbs plus). I'm not a sore loser but just sore from that A%% whooping We just took. Great job guys and you really taught me something. I really don't know what i'm doing. I failed to mention we had 32 fish 11 inches and up. Needed a big bite and finally got at 2.55 pm 4lb 15 oz largemouth, go figure. All fish were 5ft or less. Again had a wonderful day ahd cograts again to all the big stringers.

I never have caught a 2 pounder yet, but I feel one is on the way...

I met a fishing biologist last year at Jordan and he told me the next couple of years will be real good fishing at Jordan.

I can tell a difference in the average size....I caught 3 last year that weighed around 1 1/2 pounds in one fishing trip...was very excited.

    God bless.

It was only a couple of years ago that everyone (me included) was asking "What is wrong with the Jordan crappie bite". It didn't take long for it to turn around, and, I'm sure we are all happy about that.
