I had planned on being there but a prior commitment to helping my son with a Boy Scout food drive kept me home. Oh well for a good cause, maybe next year!

I was able to attend as well. Used it as an opportunity to spend some time with my daughter, a college student who's not too busy to enthusiastically spend a few hours with the old man, draggin a bunch of Christmas trees around. Once again the logistics of this event was impressive. Great weather conditions, over 500 Christmas trees, 60 or so porcupine balls, 10 or so boats, several Corps of Engineer staff, the fisheries biologist who provided some education and sound fishing advice, and a bunch of people who dispatched all of it into the lake in less than two hours! Total cooperation...for a common goal of improving our fishery. Outstanding everyone, thanks
