Went back to same area as yesterday and fish still holding on brush piles. 24 fow and would hit jig anywhere from 3 to 10 feet down on the fall. Color red/yellow was best today. Had 2 that were 12" and rest were 10 - 11. Don't think I have ever caught this many bigger or meatier fish from the ville. Even the ones I've caught off the docks last fall were above average size too. Could be less fishermen due to high water last year and plenty for them to eat?

Looks like some of those are blacks. Blacks are definitely thicker when they get over 9.
