Default eno white bassless report 3/6

Hit several spots from the bank with no luck. It was a nice day for a walk.

It won't be long before they make a run. Next couple week should be good.

It won't be long, I'm going to try the river up towards the lake Friday.

All I will say is it's time. I fished off the bank today and caught around 50 most small males but I did manage 2 big females. Only going to get better. White rooster tail and a few on jerk bait. Buzzzz

Good report! I will definitely go this weekend.

do you caught them in deep or shallow? I guess Eno river wt is possibly over 60F now. so fish should be shallow, right?

The water where I was fishing is probably 5' deep.

Fishing is still good with a few more big ones being caught. Friends of mine caught around 60 from the bank yesterday afternoon. They started around 3. Bite was hot then slowed way down around 5 or so.

Being there today. caught around 20 from my Kayak. most are male, few perches and only got one big and fat girl, and one 13" black crappie. I fished lower part of river. I thought I went early (6:30am) but boat ramp parking lot was already filled with trailers. The whole river was jammed with joan boats and kayaks. I will try from bank next time.

Any thoughts on this coming weekend? I haven't gotten to fish the Eno yet, but if the water goes back down before then I might make the trip. I need a change of pace. I would like to use my kayak. Can someone point out a decent place to launch and paddle to?
