Alright crappie.comers, Decided to take a co worker out today, They were pulling the lake down over 15 ft to work on the docks, If my crappie were in the lake, I was gonna find them, Finally found the pattern I was looking for around 1pm, Caught over 20 crappie, Kept 12 with one of which was 2 pounds and full of eggs, Hopefully within a week or so they will fill the lake back before the spawn.. P.S Ms. Jerkinlips fried me up a few for supper

Good to see you back. Hopefully we will meet one day on Kerr Scott. It has been about a month since I tried it. Been fishing Hickory. Nice mess of fish.

Good day for sure. Sunday we were seeing fish on the fishfinder at the point across from the ranger station in deep water, up at 268 bridge and up the river and could not get a thing to bite. Maybe it is starting to turn around. I rarely catch any of those midsized fish like you have pictured at Kerr Scott. Usually 6 inches or 12+. Those 8 & 10s just hide from me.
