Thread: MAP CARDS on a HELIX 9 SI GPS w/Autochart Live & SmartStrike

I am looking at the Helix 9 SI and I'm not sure how the map cards interact with each other. if I'm understanding correctly it comes with the Autochart Live which lets you map your own lake or area you prefer to fish. Is there additional software or cards that needs to be purchased to run/map with the Autochart Live?

Also, I see that as of March 2016 with a software upgrade the Helix 9 will also offer/run the SmartStrike map cards. So if I map my lake out with autochart then can I run the smartstrike over my lake? Not sure how this work, does both map cards need to be installed at the same time? If so then there would be no slot for a card to record with.

If someone would clarify how this all fits together would be a great help!

If you want to record any more than 8 hours of data, you will need a Zero Lines card to save the mapping to.

I have no idea if the Smartstrike will work with the Autochart Live map.....That product for the Helix is not release yet, and info is just beginning to trickle out.
