My son and I fished it today, for the first time, brought home a few and only kept 10 inch or bigger. Funny about ur bass bite, we never caught bass.

Wow what a crowd on the lake (again) today. Really had to bob and weave to run the lake. We caught a few real deep, a few real shallow and a few in between but never really got into a hot bite. Slow trolling jigs/minnows and vertical jigging brush. Couldn't keep the bass from biting. Wind was steady all day, we had to stay on the TM.

Buddy of mine was at Waveland ramp at 8: 00 this morning and trailers were parking on the road at both ramps. He fished till 10:30 and didn't catch a fish. Said there were probably 100 boats on the dam area of the lake and boat traffic was so bad down the channel that he could hardly fish. I think this has gotten to be a case where the good news has spread and it has hurt the fishing on this little lake. 2700 acres is not very big for the pressure this lake has been taking in the last 6 weeks, but it is public fishing grounds - so go for it if you like fishing in a crowd.
Most said it was slow on Nimrod and real crowded today . I know a friend rigged up a couple limits on Blue Mtn today .
The fish are still there just on the move, and most are not adapting to the change , had a few friends that caught limits as well , I'm sure the pressure isn't helping matters any either, just another good example of what can happen to any lake when the word gets out that a good bite is going on!!!!! The good news is the fishing will soon be good on most any lake and that will help scatter the fisherman!!!!

Water, water everywhere but not a drop to drink
Hope this doesn't happen down there again. Seems like it has the last few years just before it gets going really good.
