I'm curious about your thought here Bob ...??

kosmo's images show that the 2d can be set to a fixed frequency other than the stock 83kHz/200kHz ...

His 1st pic is at 78kHz and the 6th pic is at 90kHz ...

Rickie ..... I just scanned it too fast and missed that .....He must have done it the way I suggested.

I'm just thinking about the ability to select a frequency that fits a coverage area you want .... or to just prevent interference. I don't think the Onix pings the 200Khz all the time ....but not sure about that.

I also wonder if the Helix 12 still pings 200 all the time if the same thing is done.....I know it pings 200khz all the time if it isn't chirping.

Ricki's, correct. Thats why I posted the different fixed frequency shots. Bob, you can run the full sweep single or dual, all together or set at any fixed ban you want. For example, you can set medium chirp to 80 and not use the high chirp or you could set high chirp to 202 only. At the top of the 2d view, there's and option to run both at the same time 80/202. You can choose any fixed frequency, within the stock transducers range.(All of the pictures that I posted are fixed frequency. So far I haven't liked what I've seen, using the chirping mold (fixed frequencies are definitely better than 83/200.) I'll try again tomorrow, depending on the weather, to see what I can get the chirp to do.

Here's a short video running a fixed frequency.
