    Default I shot this one


    a year ago. My son found it Thursday while rabbit hunting about 150 yds from where I shot it. It bled good for about 20 yds then nothing. Horns are really big, mass, but not wide. Sure hate we didn't get it then.

    Outstanding! Looks like it'll make a good European mount if the rodents haven't nawed on it too much.

    Amazingly it hasn't been nawed. He already has it on a skull mount and stained the horns closer to original color.

    I shoot a remington 7mm 08, nosler point, but these were not the lead ones. I fault the bullet more than the rifle. Been shooting it a long time.

    It hurts to loose a deer! I lost one this season when he crossed a big slugh. It will make you loose sleep at nite. Glad you found him though! Staining the horns can make em all pretty again.

    That's were a tracking dog comes in handy...hey you got the rack at least...case closed. It beats never knowing I think.
