I have a theory about the best time to go fishing. Whenever it's raining, or not raining, that's the best time to go.

Went to Lacassine today after the front for one fish. I think high boat was 2 guys with a fish each. My barometer dropped low with that storm and then shot up last night. Looks like what they say about the blue bird weather the day after the front might be true. I wonder if anyone else caught in the Southern half today. Got windy about mid day also. Oh well had to go to know as they say.

That's too bad but at least you tried. I think in general post front high pressure makes em timid but from experience have found that when they're hungry they eat, even on blue bird days. I think they hold tight to the bottom or structure also. If I get a chance to go I go regardless of the weather. I use the " need to run the boat excuse ".
Yep me too Warhawk, cept I only go when I'm alone or with somebody!
Did a rerun of the trip Thursday for one fish again. Only difference more people trying, but they were all gone when I got back to the landing at 1:00.
tough day....
Yes fishing was slow for me this weekend. I had to work for them.
Glutton for punishment so I'm going back in the morning.
