We went to lower lake yesterday morning .. caught a half dozen or small fish and a catfish almost, he didn't care for the icy stare he was getting I reckon before coming aboard and self released Lake Sardis Out of the 15-20 boats trolling in the same small area, I only witnessed two or three decent fish (11"- 12") that we're caught, the rest were dinks o'plenty.. surface temp was 48 degrees.

I caught one crappie over 12" and one nice stripper on lower lake. Water temp was around 51 degrees at 4 pm.

Drove down to Teckville for a country drive and lunch at Holiday Lodge. Well the place don't open till the first. Not a rig in the boat ramp lot. Lake was white capping and chocolate. Could see a cloud of sand blowing from beach across the lake.

Had lunch at Piney Point Cafe. Was pretty dang good. It was a nice day for a drive but would not have wanted to be on Sardis Lake today.
