She may be HOT, or she may be COLD. Prepare to be humbled....either way you are Welcome! Yep, you can just go down a little further.

Like Armyman said come April 1 st it could be on fire. A lot right now has to do with the way it has jumped up and down with the rains we have had it jumps 4-5 feet in a week then corps opens the gates and it drops that same amount or more in a couple of weeks then it rains again. It is still not close to rule curve for this time of year. And if we get our end of March first of April rains it could very well be flooded again this year. She will sure make you or brake you.

Looks like I am going to have the lake to myself. Can't wait.

I seriously doubt that will happen.

Yesterday I saw a sign on hwy 304 east of Hurricane creek, For Sale 60 acres. Got me to thinking, buy it, dig it out about 25 ft deep. It floods every few years and would make a great crappie bed.
    Who's buying?

I saw that same sign a week or so ago myself. Whoever buys that will have a chore keeping the trespassers away. Can't think of what you would want floodland, other than duck hunting. And you can do that for free on the lake.. KW is buying a lot of questionable property in Desoto county. I've never heard of them before a few weeks ago, now see there signs everywhere, especially around Horn Lake area and further west.. hope they're getting it for cheap.

It got hammered. Regardless of the opposing views, it set her back a few years. She's on the upswing now, but not like she used to be by a long shot.

It'll take 4-5 years of real good spawns and high water to give the remaining fish a chance, I spect

I think the year that caused this was 2007. I remember Enid got so low the fish were dying and caused a terrible stink for a long time....according to people I know that live around the Lake. Bad drought that year.
