I Pilot Link
Hello everyone , I've got a Powerdrive V2 and I'm thinking about adding the I Pilot. I'm wanting to get the spot lock for fishing brushpiles and shooting docks. Has anyone added the I Pilot and is it worth the $450 it costs. I've read mixed reviews on how well it holds the boat in place. Thanks

I bought a power drive with ipilot pre installed. I am pleased with it and it's function though I have a lot to learn about it. However your title includes ipilot link which is more expensive and links your humminbird. I don't know if it is worth the extra 799 to upgrade to ipilot link yet. My spot lock works fine with ipilot although the link might do a better job

I might of said it wrong I'm wanting to add I Pilot to my Powerdrive V2 to get spot lock. I'm running Lowrance electronics so the I Pilot link is of no use to me . Thanks again

For 449 I'd do it. I'm pretty sure about this but maybe others will chime in. If you go ipilot you will loose use of your foot pedal which I am still trying to get used to although I do like being able to run the troller from anywhere in the boat with the remote. I didn't even get a foot pedal with mine.
