    Default First time spider rigging

Finally broke down and got all the stuff to set up my boat for spider rigging, went out Sunday with the wife and ended up keeping 2 limits. To say the least I am hooked on crappie fishing now. It was a very fast paced trip and the wife had a blast as well. With that being said I still don't think it beats feeling the thump with my pole buried up in a brush pile. But if it keeps the wife happy and wanting to go then I guess I'll have to keep doing it. She is already upset that I'm taking someone else this weekend instead of her.

Nice mess! Looks the lake you were fishing was smooth as glass. Nice scenery too. What kind of rods and reels are those?

Rods are 14 ft southern crappie rods and reels are the crappie maxx reels from bass pro. So far I love this set up. These rods are tuff, I slung a 3.5 lb bass in the boat and several monster white bass.
