Poverty Point Lake
A buddy and I are planning a trip to Poverty Point Lake in a couple of weeks. We've never been to the lake before. I'm not looking for any honey holes. Just general information on the lake. Is this a good time to catch numbers or should we wait longer to go. Thanks in advance for the information.

Yes the north end is the easiest to figure out .. Water is in the10-12 ft range.. Spawn usually takes place there first.. Numbers? Who knows last year was slow at times but had big fish...its bumper boats when the spawn takes place.. Even with all the people, it's my favorite place for big fish. Good luck.
