Thread: Black Lake 2-20-16

Sorry for the very late report, but we had a great day. I took one of my deacons fishing Saturday. We probably caught about 50 fish. We kept only 23 crappie and 1 catfish. We had a good time. Water temp was 58-59 degrees. We were fishing in the channel out from Dickson's Landing right along side of 30 or 40 other boats. We saw Maxwell328 and his wife, Mrs. Annette, and we saw Juicy and his father-in-law and nephew. I believe I caught at least one fish on every jig color I tried except red/chartreuse, which was the color I caught most of my fish on Thursday. Most of the fish I caught were caught on a blue thunder jig that I dyed the tail chartreuse on. The biggest fish we caught Saturday was about the size of the smallest fish I caught on Thursday. We fished 14-18 feet of water about 14-15 feet deep. No pictures. Sorry. I took some but haven't had the time to load them on the computer and upload them to the site.

I like how you shepherd the flock. What a great way to enjoy the day. Good report!
