Default Never seen two people this happy.

Yesterday, Huntinslabs posted his "memories" thread, and today I'm posting mine. This, that and the other thing got into the way of me posting this yesterday, so here it it today.

Mom loves her new hat. These will be available in the Crappie.com store soon, BTW. Welcome to Crappie Wear - Crappie.com's Official Storefront

We took her new hat for a test drive. She had a great time. Did not stay out long. Did not matter though, still good. I tolled with only 2 poles out a bit. And did get one bite. But regretfully, it was the catch and release before we got to see it kind! doh. She did have a tug, tug on the line momentarily though.

Then later that day, the ShuMeister called. I met him on the water. Never seen him so happy. We caught tons. He said "this is the way it's supposed to be"! We raised our standards, released most and only kept a few between 11 and 12 inches. I think he had three and I had three that met the requirements. Not that many, but tons of fun catching, I'm tell'in you.

Sounds like a great boat ride Ed, very nice !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

Those hats are a hit. Good idea HS. Mom is getting frequent floater miles big time. I would be absolutely thrilled with 6 bream like that one, make a great dinner. Looking forward to getting out myself but doubt I will make the gathering like I wanted to. Might make weigh in. Just a lot going on. You're doin Mom right Slab, keep it up.
