funny you asked that ....i had the same question the other night when i was rippin lips at a crappie barge ...
its a little cousin of one ....its called a little fry from Thermocline lures .....silver flash
and its about half as big as a double silver rainbow
is flat out deadly on crappie and panfish on a number 8 1/64 and a number 6 1/32
one lake record black crappie last year on it that i registered .
probably my favorite go to bait .....and it works at night and day
when the shad are around they cant seem to resist it
and i wasnt tipping the jig with anything btw
