A few of us went hunting today with Nick from Rend Lake Fishing Guides. The birds weren't cooperating as well as he would have liked, but Nick worked his butt off to provide us very good shooting. He provided us with opportunity after opportunity to kill many more birds than we did. He wanted to keep hunting and get us on more birds, but some of the guys had to get back to the Ozark Mountains to finish their "Honey-do" lists I guess. We had lots of shooting, but minimal hitting... It was an absolute treat to hunt with Nick and also talk Illinois crappie fishing. I will hire Nick again!

Very nice Jeff, it looks like Ar is treating you well, the dog looks like he had a workout fetching all them snows.

Thanks Jeff it was a "blast". Your all welcome in my pit or boat any day!
Are the snows still in Arkansas?? With the weather we have had lately and all winter figured they be up in Dakota's by now? Nice pic!
Been seeing hundreds flying north everyday .
Snow goose is hard work. Glad to see it's going good for you.
This season has made me positive I made the correct decision to make last season my last guiding snow goose hunts. It is refreshing to see a group who is happy with the results of their hunt and not hung up on numbers. I worked my butt off for every group equally but there were just some folks who were never going to be happy unless they killed as many as some guy on Facebook who saved their birds for several days and made pics of huge piles of dead geese. Many times the expectations were nowhere close to reality but still there none the less.
Good job guys! Save the tundra!!
