Seeking reports because my own is so pitiful!!! Did not get to CrossPoint until noon and the parking lot looked like they were giving stuff away! Found two open spots. Great. Got on the water and it looked like 4-40 at any given time of day. Wind blowing 6-12 (guessing) with gusts that were un-guessable. I started out with a strategy, but, those were out the window. Just find some fish and try to stay on them was the rule of day. I have been trying circle hooks and I think they were my downfall. I hung what I think would be my personal best and lost her at the boat. I thought I'd hung a catfish by the way she was shaking her head, and some serious weight. I know she was a crappie, and I think she was full of eggs. I lost another, but never really had her coming up. That's it, two bites. No fish. My fault, though, for rushing the pull with the circle hooks. So, share your reports! (Even saw a jet-skier). Water temp 45.
Harris was a beehive yesterday boats everywhere ..I found fish on the bottom in 35 ft minnows and jigs on a bottom rig .. Boat traffic made it misery..
We were on Norman Striper fishing.
Bass boats were like gnats buzzing around your head,
Jet skis and even a skier came by us.
Lake was like a washing machine.
Wind was blowing also.
Caught a few hybrids,
Weatherman missed it a lil.
