Default Bundick's in the AM Lacassine in the PM

Bundick's started out nice with the calm winds and the fog. But soon that changed. The wind picked up and messed it up for me. I could see the fish on the structure but could't stay on them. My son and me each caught one. It was nice meeting jlaughlin and shadow. Does anyone recognize that guy in the front or tha G3? I told him I would make him famous. They were catching a few hear and there. Around 9:30 we pickup and headed to Lacassine. There we caught 17. We should of had more but the trip was for my son and I ran the trolling motor and held the boat in place for him. When he would miss a fish I would catch it for him with a different color jig. He had a blast. He even got to catch a big old choupique and a gar on a fly rod. Water temp was 64 degrees. That's up a degree from yesterday. Most people I talked to had around 5 to 12 fish.

Nice meeting you Don and Dylan. Wish the fishing would have been better but that's how it goes some times. Dad and I went to the spill way and caught 3 bass and 3 bream but that was all we caught after yall left. I think Johnny and Justin ended up with 30 but he had some nice ones!

I am thinking the same John. I am launching at Lorraine due to the wind. There is alot more areas to get out of the wind. I will be in a gold Tundra tomorrow. On the way home my truck's ABS light came on and my right front tire was making noises like I have a rock caught in the brakes. I am thinking of fishing north of Lorraine.

I enjoyed the day also. Yes it was too bad once I started to get use to boat position and found a nice tree top holding fish the wind kicked up. I am not use to open water fishing. I am a river fisherman that gets up in the trees with the snakes and wasps.
