First trip to crescent

The little ladies birthday is tomorrow and she requested to stay in a cabin and fish and have a relaxing weekend! Well I took advantage of that and got us a room at Leonard's landing for the weekend with the hopes of one of us landing a two pound slab!! This will be my first time going to crescent I've done a lot of reading and preparing for the trip this week and I think I've got a pretty good chance at landing some fish but any other valuable information would be greatly appreciated!!!

Haw Creek and the canal going into Dead Lake is good right now, but it will be wall to wall with boats this weekend. Good Luck to you and your wife
