It is almost down but water still murky on Nimrod . Watched some trawlers (spider riggers ) in the River for awhile but only seen them catch a brush pile .

    CA, how were the nets when you pulled them, full of cat, i heard the weather is in the 70s should be firing up soon, what ever lake you been fishing those are some big numbers ya'll catching, Billbob said lake X but i don't think so by what iv'e been reading.

    No with water warmer than usual the Catfish playing hard to get . This time of year water temps usually much lower and when lake drops they normally head to deep water . Pulled them expecting crowds looking for Crappie that will hang up in them . Ready to start looking again because I have not wet a jig here since last fall. High water , Commerical fishing season , Deer season and other things been in the way . Catching lots of fish other places was nice but tired of driving .

    Congrats on the catch. I don't know if it was lake w,x,y or z but I do know somebody is going to have some good eats.

    Gave most away but just had some Crappie fillets and Flathead belly steaks for supper .

    I knew it. Those are definitely clear water fish. I can tell by their color. I've heard dock shooting at night has been great up there as long as the residents don't shoot back.
