Thread: Finally got my new boat!!!!

Well I finally got to take the new boat out for a test drive. It didnt go great at first. The motor was tilted up to high and causing the prop to ventilate when trying to get up on plane and it was taking a bit to get on plane. Unfortunatly the Yamaha has two bolts on each side that control the tilt and I didnt have the tools with me so I had to make a run back to the house and adjust it. Once I got back out, the boat ran beautifully, it was alot smoother of a ride then my old boat and alot quieter as well. I was running 25 mph against wind and current and it was a lot more stable than my old boat. On the way back home, my bearing had a catostrophic failure and i had to limp my boat the rest of the way home where i could put a new hub on. That really sucked cuz I just had the bearings greased a week ago, but things happen and its all fixed now. Once I finally got everything back to normal with the hubs I finally got the Hiteks mounted. These things are SOLID! I still have to adjust each individual holder but i will wait till im on the lake to get it exactly where i want it. And here is a few pics as requested.
